Marcus Benton’s journey into the automotive industry began at 14 when he swept floors and removed the trash at a local shop. Throughout high school and college, he worked at this shop after school and during summers, soaking up as much knowledge as possible about painting and bodywork. He eventually pursued a career as a project manager in construction, but his passion for working on cars never faded. He spent his free time repairing vehicles and steadily investing in equipment; what started as a hobby soon became something more. In 2020, he decided to leave his construction career, took a leap of faith, and opened his shop. It was a big decision, but one he has not once regretted. Benton’s Paint and Body is a popular and trusted destination today in the Moncks Corner, South Carolina, area. We are proud of how far we’ve come — and are excited to see how far we go — while staying committed to quality work and customer satisfaction.
